Even with the most finely sifted henna powder available, little clumps can form when you mix your paste. Straining your henna with a nylon stocking will give you the silkiest, smoothest henna paste possible.

Can be reused! Gentle use and avoiding straining too-thick paste will provide better longevity. Simply wash with soap and water and lay flat to dry.
