How to use Applicator Bottles

Here’s our quick and easy video tutorial on switching between tip sizes, and closing the bottle to store your henna or jagua paste after use:

Having trouble?

Jagua & henna flows best when it’s close to the tip. As you’re working, you’ll need to occasionally shake the paste down close to the tip. This eliminates air bubbles and gets it flowing again.

If it’s coming out really slowly or curling a lot, it means the tip size is too small for the thickness of the paste. The easiest fix is to switch to a larger tip size.

You can also unscrew the large black cap and add a few drops of water to the paste, then reseal shake the bottle really well to thin it out a bit. Be sure to cover the opening of the tip with your finger in case the paste comes out! Add just a few drops of water at a time, then shake and test. Too much water will make it runny, so just add a little at a time!
