What sets us apart?

Trendsetting

Our designs go viral! You’ve probably seen some of our most popular designs trending on Instagram, Pinterest, and elsewhere on the web. Our focus is always on creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind art. Henna artists all over the world tell us their customers are bringing them our pictures to copy.

We create all our designs freehand and love collaborating with our clients to come up with patterns that reflect YOU.

 Professional

SARAHENNA isn’t just a hobby for us. We took our passion and combined it with our background in business. That experience informs everything we do.

Taking our henna business seriously means we’re licensed and insured. We’re internationally certified Natural Henna Artists through ICNHA., which shows our knowledge of henna history and traditions. Our certification also ensures that we understand proper use of ingredients, and how henna actually works. We understand proper essential oil dilution as well as what essential oils should never be in the henna mix. You’ll get great results from our products, and it will be safe!

Large events and bridal services are always formalized with a contract, so we're all on the same page.

We're experienced with groups of all sizes, having worked for companies like Google, Microsoft and the Seattle Art Museum with attendance of over 10,000. Learn why some of the region’s top companies keep hiring SARAHENNA, year after year. Don’t just take our word for it, take a look at some of our feedback.

Standards

We believe in using simple, clean, safe ingredients. We are certified Natural Henna Artists, which means we know how to make real, natural henna the traditional way. No synthetics or preservatives! We mix our henna paste using 100% certified organic henna leaf and organic essential oils, carefully sourced and intended for therapeutic applications. We are dedicated to safety and will always provide a complete list of ingredients on request.

Artists all over the world rely on our henna for their businesses.

We never use “black henna” or other mass-produced factory-made products. These usually contain questionable (and often illegal) additives. Learn more about avoiding imitation "henna".

Philanthropy

With our Henna Crowns Project, we aim to make henna crowns accessible to anyone that wants one. People going through chemotherapy often suffer from unwanted hair loss, leading many to wigs and hats to cover up. Henna crowns provide a beautiful, artistic alternative that is also comfortable to wear. Our owner Sarah Walters has been offering henna crowns by donation since 2011.
